The Loop Pizza Grill Delivers Double Dose of Dining
Florida-based restaurant chain tosses in two new restaurants

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Jan. 5, 2006) The Loop Pizza Grill continues to expand its presence in North Florida with the opening of two new restaurants in January and February 2006. The new locations will bring the total number of LOOP restaurants to 12 in the Jacksonville area.

“I have been looking forward to this opening for close to a year now,” said Ken Caplan, co-owner. “The Loop Pizza Grill is an established name in the Jacksonville market, and I hope to build upon that reputation.”

The first restaurant is scheduled to open Jan. 13 at 2851 County Road 210 West in Johns Creek. The 5,600 square-foot restaurant will have a seating capacity of 180. “This restaurant is a little larger than your typical LOOP,” Caplan said. “We plan to use the additional space to build a bigger kitchen and provide extra seating.”

The second restaurant is slated to open in mid-February at 13760 St. Augustine Road at the Shoppes at Bartram Park. Both LOOP restaurants will be built in new shopping centers. “I spend a lot of time scouting locations,” Caplan said. “These two areas appeal to me because of the potential for growth and the opportunity to make The Loop Pizza Grill the new neighborhood restaurant.”

Caplan belongs to a partnership that owns three other Loop Pizza Grill restaurants: two in Cary, N.C., and another in Julington Creek, just south of Jacksonville. “I’ve been with THE LOOP five years now and I think I’ve figured out the secret to their success,” Caplan said. “They offer a product and service that fits the lifestyle of most Americans today. People want fresh food made fast and THE LOOP fulfills that need every time.”
