DICKEY'S BARBECUE PIT OFFERS FREE BARBECUE, FREE CRUISE
The Country's Largest Growing Barbecue Chain To Hold Grand Opening With Grand Prizes
(OVIEDO, Florida) Dickey's Barbecue Pit holds their Customer Appreciation Day 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Thursday, April 29th giving away free barbecue and a free Caribbean cruise.
"Our customers are our bread and butter, we want to thank Oviedo for being so supportive of Dickey's," Owner/Operator Corey Warren said.
With a special visit from Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder Roland Dickey, the store's grand opening is sure to be a lively event.
"We are giving away the trip of a lifetime to one lucky couple," Dickey said. "They will have an all expenses-paid vacation with Carnival Cruise line and three folks will win free barbecue for a year. I hope everyone in the area comes out to say hi, enters to win some great prizes and of course experiences what we do best—good barbecue. It's going to be a great day."
As the barbecue chain brings their signature taste to Florida, they are doing the same across the country.
Dickey's is growing at a rapid pace opening 30 stores since early 2009. Fifty-six stores are currently in development across the country.
"When my father started this business, I don't think he every thought it would become what it is today," Dickey said. "Our goal is to bring great barbecue to as many people as we can. We started in Dallas, but we didn't want to just keep in there, everyone should have the opportunity to eat Dickey's."
The first Dickey's Barbecue opened in 1941 in Dallas, TX. The original location is still open for business and Dickey's Barbecue is still owned and operated by the Dickey Family. Dickey's only began franchising in 1994, now there are over 110 locations in 21 states. Even today, Dickey's still slow smokes all of their signature meats overnight in every restaurant.
Committed to exceptional quality at a great value, Dickey's Barbecue is unlike anything in the area, according to Warren.
Other franchise locations in Florida include Wesley Chapel and Tallahassee.
