House’s “Chance to Win 100k” Sparks Local Restaurant
Rush
ATLANTA –
Throughout its 40-plus-year history, Huddle House, a nationwide
family restaurant franchise known for serving any meal, all day, has always
strived on serving great food without much need for flare. But every now
and then, a little flare is OK -- especially when it comes to the tune
of $100,000, a trip to Daytona’s big race, and other prizes.
“The chance
to win $100K has definitely created some friendly competition among our
neighbors, community, and franchisees,” said Phil Greifeld, CEO
of the 430-unit Huddle House. “For one of our local residents to
win a prize like $100K would change their lives forever. Everyone is curious
as to which one of Huddle House’s 430 locations will have that winning
game piece.”
While the grand prize
of $100,000 goes to just one winner who spells out “HUDDLE”
on winning scratch off tickets, given away with every receipt, there are
other instant scratch ‘n win prizes local residents are vying for.
The first prize is two tickets to the big race in Daytona next year, including
travel and lodging; and multiple prize winners can win a Columbia Sportswear
Gift Packs; a Fox SportSouth Gift Packs; $25 AMEX Gift Cards; and Bill
Elliott 2007 Daytona T-shirts.
Additionally, as a
way to launch Huddle House’s new menu, each prize ticket includes
an instant scratch off where winners can win free coffee, biscuits &
gravy, hash browns, and a side of bacon or sausage.
The new menu is part
of the chain’s work on enhancing its already positive image by adding
new décor to its locations and rolling out a new menu with updated
items. The new menu relates to a broader taste while still staying true
to its original favorites. The menu includes additions such as the new
Waffle Platter along with Country Fried Steak and Eggs and Onion Rings.
