Picazzo’s Gourmet Pizza & Salads is expanding nationwide. We are currently selecting a few area developers to become franchisees and work with us to develop restaurants in select markets. If you have the relevant experience and a proven track record of success, a Picazzo’s Gourmet Pizza and Salads Restaurant could be an opportunity with your name on it.

Franchising is a great way to be in business for yourself, but not by yourself. You are an independent business owner, but “affiliated” with other independent owners all leveraging the Picazzo’s brand, operational expertise and resources. Franchising works because it synergistically combines the resources and skills of both parties, the franchisor and the franchisee, in a business operation that can be mutually profitable. Franchise systems typically work with the franchisor providing an established, proven concept, brand name, resources and support. In return, the franchisee provides the local business acumen, capital to open the new restaurants, and a highly motivated local management team for the day-to-day operations of the restaurants, acquiring and retaining a loyal customer base and growing their business and the Picazzo brand.

Q. How do I qualify?
A. The first step is to speak with one of our franchise representatives. You will be sent a franchise evaluation form to complete. Once this has been received it will be reviewed and if you qualify, you will receive a Uniform Franchise Offering Circular from us. We will then schedule a time for you to visit our corporate locations and meet our team.

Q. How much will I need to invest?
A. The estimated cost to open a Picazzo franchise is between $455,000 and $600,000.

Q. Who designs my store(s)?
A. The prototypical store has already been designed and is in operation. The physical characteristics of all locations are unique and require slight modifications to the original prototype. These alterations will be made by our licensed architect and ultimately approved by us.

Q. Do I have to select the contractors?
A. Yes. We will offer assistance and guidance in selecting a contractor but the ultimate decision will be made by you.

Q. How long does it take to build a Picazzo?
A. A typical store build out is 10 to 12 weeks. This time period can vary greatly depending on individual municipality and condition of the space.

Q. Is it possible to own more than one Picazzo?
A. Yes. The decision to offer you more than one location will be made based on your qualifications and experience.

Q. Are my trading areas exclusive?
A. Yes. Each Franchise location comes with an exclusive, protected territory.

Q. How is the site selected for my store?
A. You will work with a local real estate professional to determine best possible locations that meet the requirements for a Picazzo store. A member of our team will also review any potential locations and work with you to determine a location that meets our criteria.

Q. Do I need to be involved in the day-to-day operations of my franchise?
A. Yes. As the owner of your new business it is essential that you play a role in the day-to-day operation of your restaurant. You may hire a management team to run the operations, but you will be required to participate.

Q. Does Picazzo provide financing?
A. No. We do not offer financing; however; there are many forms of financing and leasing available to qualified individuals.

Q. How much is the franchise fee?
A. $30,000 per store location.

Q. How much are the on-going royalties?
A. 5%

Q. How long is the term of a Franchise Agreement?
A. The franchise term is twenty (20) years.
