The Earl of Sandwich
OUR HISTORY In 1762, John Montagu, the fourth Earl of Sandwich, had his hands full, literally. He was First Sea Lord of the mighty British Navy, a noted explorer, and also a dedicated gambler with a love of daylong card games. His great invention putting meat between two pieces of bread was born, and 250 years later the current 11th Earl of Sandwich is here to reclaim and reinvent the Sandwich!

Our menu is designed to produce high quality items, at value for money prices that go way beyond the expectation of our customer. There is nothing complicated, it is great ingredients put together with care and consistency in our own unique way. We will do whatever it takes to make and serve the worlds finest sandwiches!
Our hot signature sandwiches are at the heart of the menu. The Angus beef is slow roasted in-house and freshly carved. All of our hot sandwiches are made to order from scratch using high quality fresh ingredients and served on our very own artisan baked loaf and topped with unique sauces and spreads. Whilst no specialized kitchen qualifications are needed for our menu, it does take people who are single minded in their desire to serve the finest sandwiches.
