We believe that the success of this concept rests on providing fresh baked breads, gourmet signature sandwiches, soups and salads in a fun and engaging atmosphere. We take great pride in offering you a specialty food concept that has proven to do just that.

TRAINING
Dillybird’s success is based upon uniform quality and service that is achieved through effective training. We have made a major commitment of time and resources to develop this comprehensive training program.

New franchisees and store management must participate in a three-week comprehensive Dillybird’s Training Program. This is full-scale, educational experience, encompasses classroom study and in-store training, to simulate “live” restaurant operations. Each franchisee learns how a store is operated as effectively and efficiently as possible, in accordance with corporate standards for cleanliness, performance, food quality, service and operational efficiency.

Training is a high priority for Dillybird’s. We provide the following for all franchisees and their key personnel:

  • A comprehensive 3-week training program at one of our corporate stores.
  • On-going operational support.
  • A complete process for getting new stores up and running, faster and more cost effective.
  • Visits to your store on a regular basis to help refine and improve your operation.
  • Planning for your Grand Opening
  • 7 day a week phone consultations
  • Confidential, on-line manuals for operations, training, and recipes.

During formal training, all franchisees are provided with the following educational material:

  • Detailed Store Operations Manual
  • Management training Manual
  • Pictorial Product Quality Guides
  • Testing programs for both management and Hourly Trainees

In addition to our extensive classroom and in-store training, we provide a “Grand Opening Team” to work in the franchise restaurant prior to the opening of each location. The team simulates every aspect of “real operations”, ensuring that all the functions will be performed in accordance with corporate standards.

After a grand opening, the team will remain in the franchise restaurant for several days to further train and assist management and hourly employees.

MARKETING
Maintaining top-of-mind awareness is crucial to building sales. Marketing programs are designed to build loyalty at the neighborhood level through maximizing appeal to the local community through promotions, events and special features. Additionally, a strategic synergy of mediums such as direct mail, print, cable advertising and radio can be utilized as a cost-effective means of creating awareness and stimulating visits.

These advertising vehicles, however, are only intended to precipitate trial. The ongoing quality of the Dillybird’s product and experience is truly the most powerful marketing tool. Throughout Dillybird’s growth into a national franchise system, the Company will support franchisee marketing needs through a combination of in-house resources and outsourced marketing.
